The Lakelands School, Sports & Language College Parent & Teachers Association is a committee of hard working parents & teachers who help to raise much needed extra money for the benefit of all pupils in our school.
All parents are eligable to join and new members are always welcome at any time.

Some of the activities organised for fund raising include various social events such as:- Burns Evenings
- Murder Mystery Evenings
- Family Beetle Drives
- Bingo Nights
- Car Boot Sale
- Fun Run
The newest of our events was the recent Car Boot Sale held on September 24th 2006. We also ran a Fun Run at the same time and had a very successful day. Most of the events we organise are sited at Lakelands, utilising Lakelandss resources to aid with fund raising.
Meetings tend to be one-per-term, and of course preceding any of our events to ensure the smooth operation of each one. Meetings are very informal and sociable, so can be a great way to make new friends.
The Annual General Meeting this year will be held at the Lakelands School on Wednesday 18th October at 7:30pm, which will be followed by our next meeting to finalise arrangements for our next event, which will be a Murder Mystery Evening which will be held on Saturday 11th November 2006 at the Lakelands School.
